Hello everyone!
Welcome to Day 6 of Christmas in July YouTube series with Heartfelt Creations products
and today I share the tutorial for
bridge card
made with
New Snowy Pines Collection
Create flat to match envelop or add flowers and leaves and create dimensional project on the same base.
Bridge card measures - 7 inches by 7 inches.
To create card base - cut out a 7” x 9” piece of white cardstock and score it at 1 1/4”, 2 1/4”, 6 3/4” and 7 3/4” (long side up). Fold using a bone folder along the score lines. Cut out following pieces of Snowy Pines Paper Collection: 6 7/8” x 1 1/8” (4 pieces), 6 7/8” x 7/8” (4 pieces) and 6 7/8” x 4 3/8” (1 piece) and adhere them to front and back of the card base. Cut out 4 3/8” x 1 1/2” piece of Paper Collection and adhere it on the card back to create a belly band. Cut out 3” x 4” piece of Paper Collection, round the corners using a corner rounder punch and add an additional layer of white card.
To decorate card front - die cut decorative frame of red Paper Collection piece using HCD2-7309 Elaborate Oval Frames Die, add additional layer of white card on the back and adhere the final piece to the card front using Dries Clear Adhesive, Stamp cardinals image of HCPC-3918 Snowy Pine Cardinals Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Jet Black Archival Ink Pad, then colour the image using Prima Marketing Water Soluble Oil Pastel. Die cut the image with matching HCD1-7303 Snowy Pine Cardinals Die, add an additional layer of white card on the back and adhere the final piece on the card front using 3D foam.
Stamp pine cones image of HCPC-3917 Festive Pine Cones Cling Stamp Set on Paper Collection piece with Stampin’ UP! Garden Green Ink Pad, then colour the image with Prima Marketing Water Soluble Oil Pastel and Gold Metallic Paint or NU802 Indian Gold Nuvo Mousse. Die cut the pine cones image with matching HCD1-7302 Festive Pine Cones Die, then shape them using HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Stamp a poinsettia image of HCD1-7249 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Jet Black Archival Ink Pad, then colour the image with Barn Door Distress Ink using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut the image with matching HCD1-7249 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Die, then place them in HCFB1-478 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through die cutting machine. Assemble poinsettia flowers using a hot glue gun, adhere ANC805 Gilt Trip Prills in the centre, then adhere complete flowers to the card. Fill the composition in with pine cones and thread gauze. Cut out the sentiment from Paper Collection and adhere it on the centre of the card front as shown.
For finishing touches, apply Dries Clear Glue and sprinkle PGM15015 Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear glitter and leave the card to dry off completely.
