293. Wild aaster tent card

Hello everyone!

For this week Heartfelt Creations inspiration I design 6"x 6" tent card with

new Wild Aster Collection
and
Booklet Frame and Accent Dies ( launched today! )

Instructions:

Tent card measures - 6 inches by 6 inches. To create 6” x 6” card base - cut out a 6” x 12” piece of white cardstock and score it at 6” (long side up), then cut out 6 x 2 1/2” piece of white cardstock and score it at 1/4”, 1 1/4” and 2 1/4” (short side up). Fold using bone folder along the score lines. Adhere both parts together as shown to create top fold tent card base. 

 

Cut out one 6” x 6” piece of pattern paper from Wild Aster Collection and adhere it to the card front. Cut out one piece 1 3/8” x 6” from Wild Aster Collection and two more pieces 1 3/8” x 6” from white cardstock, then stack and adhere them together. Die cut four decorative elements of the Swirly Accent Spray Die of white cardstock. Distress two of the decorative elements with Ranger Distress Ink pads - Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, then adhere to each one of them an additional die cut element on the back of the strip. Adhere finished piece to the card front. 

Stamp flower images of Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set both with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and Jet Black Archival Ink. Colour in the Jet black stamped flowers with Dusty Concord Distress ink and the rest of them with Milled Lavender Distress Ink using daubers. Stamp the branch images of Wild Aster Spray Cling Stamp Set with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and colour them in with Dusty Concord and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks using Blender Marker. Die cut the branches with matching die from Wild Aster Spray Die set. Stamp the leaf images of Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set with Jet Black Archival Ink and colour them in with Mowed Lawn using daubers. Die cut leaves and flowers using matching die from Wild Aster Die set and shape them using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble flowers using hot glue gun and adhere them to the card front as shown. Fill in the composition with die cut branches. 

Stamp the sentiment of Celebrate Love Sentiments Stamp Set with Jet Black Archival Ink on Wild Aster Paper Collection and die cut it using Hand-Stitched Accents Die, then adhere additional layer of white cardstock to the back, distress the edges with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and adhere final piece to the card front as shown using clear glue on one side and the 3D Foam Circles on the other.

For the finishing touches, apply clear glue to the top of the leaves and decorative swirl element, then cover them with glitter.
